If you make pens and bottle stoppers, this self-centering vise will allow you to make precise centered drill holes.
- Made of anodized aluminium, jaws are "V" notched in the centre to form a 8mm(5/16") square which helps to secure round blanks and eliminates drilling off center holes. The usable surface is 32mm(1-1/4") wide x 75mm(3") high
- The jaws move parallel on two 8mm(5/16") dia round steel rods and are driven by two 12mm(1/2") dia endless threaded bolts controlled by a big round adjustment knob
- Maximum tightening capacities are 40mm(1-9/16") long x 32mm(1-1/4") wide (inside the rods)
- The whole kit forms a heavy 240mm(9-1/2") long x 100mm(4") wide x 85mm(3-3/8") high vise that weighs 2.2kg(4.9lb)
